THE BASICS

What is MegaPass?

MegaPass is Megaplex Theatres’ monthly membership program, powered by Atom Tickets. The plan includes access to 2 movie tickets every month, the ability to reserve your seats in advance, and 15% off concessions purchases! MegaPass benefits can be redeemed exclusively for Megaplex locations using the Atom Tickets mobile app (available for iOS and Android). You can also manage your MegaPass membership with the Atom Tickets app.

Can I use my MegaPass for me and a guest to see one movie together?

Absolutely! You can choose to use both of your monthly movie tickets for you and a guest to see a movie together.

What do you mean by “2 movie tickets every month?”

Your MegaPass membership gives you the benefit of waiving the cost and fees of 2 movie tickets every 30-days.

What movies can I see with my MegaPass membership?

Your membership includes access to 2 movie tickets per month, valid for most movies. Experience your favorite formats and seat types, including: 2D, Luxury, 3D, IMAX, IMAX 3D, Dolby Atmos, DBOX, and DBOX Luxury.

Some exclusions include marathon events, double features, fan events, FATHOM events, Luxury Box seats at select locations, special engagements and/or any other special event showing. Showings in the VIP Auditoriums are also not included in the current plan.

What is the PlusOne Perk, and how does it work?

With the MegaPass PlusOne Perk, you can share the magic of the movies with the people you love, like, or even just tolerate during the holidays. Your MegaPass membership includes up to six (6) $1.00 Off discount tickets per order.

PlusOne Perks can be used when you redeem your membership benefits, as well as for additional purchases made for Megaplex locations on the Atom Tickets mobile app. PlusOne Perks are valid for most movies. For more details on what’s included, please see MegaPass Terms and Conditions.

Can I use my PlusOne Perk on $5 Tuesday?

Unfortunately, your PlusOne Perk benefit may not be combined with the Tuesday discount or any other discounts offered by Megaplex.

Who can become a member?

You must be 18 years or older to become a MegaPass member.

Can I use my MegaPass membership at other theatres?

Why would you want to go anywhere else? MegaPass is valid at any of the conveniently located Megaplex Theatres locations in Utah and Nevada, excluding the Main Street location in St. George, Utah. This location features previously released film titles at already significantly discounted ticket prices.

Do benefits renew each calendar month, or is it based on when I sign up?

To make it as convenient as possible, your benefits begin on the date of your first payment and renew on the same day of each subsequent month. For example, if you join on October 22, your benefits will renew November 22, December 22, etc. In this example, once you’ve used all of your membership benefits for one month, they will renew on the 22nd of the next month.

If you sign up on the 30th or 31st day of a month, your membership month will run through the day before the last day of the following calendar month. For example, if you sign up on October 31, your first month is from October 31 through November 29, your second month is from November 30 through December 30, etc.

Do my unused MegaPass member benefits rollover to the next month?

No, they do not. With so many good movies in theatres, it’s easy to use your benefits each month!

How do I cancel my membership?

When you sign up for MegaPass, you agree to an initial commitment period of six months. Following the first six-month contract period, you may cancel your MegaPass membership at any time via your Profile settings in the MegaPass section of the Atom Tickets mobile app or by contacting Atom Tickets customer service.

If you cancel your membership prior to the end of the six-month commitment period, you will continue to be billed until the end of the six-month period, and you will continue to receive your monthly benefits during that time.

What is the Contract Period?

The MegaPass is a continuous service membership with an initial contract period of six months. Following the first six months, your membership is automatically renewed each month at the end of your current billing cycle and service will continue until canceled.



USING MEGAPASS

I used my MegaPass membership to get tickets, where’s my QR code?

Your QR code will become available in the “My Profile” tab in the Atom Tickets app when you get to the theatre (within 60 minutes of showtime).

Can I use my MegaPass membership for a guest?

Yes! Using your MegaPass membership is no different than inviting a friend to a movie. Choose your movie, showtime, and number of tickets. Then, click on the + to assign the tickets of your choice. After completing the checkout process, assigned tickets will be sent to your friends (messaging and data rates may apply). Don't worry, you'll also be able to send your friends their tickets after purchase, if necessary.

Unless you’ve assigned additional tickets to friends, all tickets for the order will be on the same QR code, so everyone will need to check into the theatre together.

Does MegaPass work online?

You can sign up in the Atom Tickets mobile app or on atomtickets.com, but you can only redeem MegaPass benefits for Megaplex locations in the Atom Tickets app. This means you will need to bring your phone with you to the theatre. Don’t worry though, the app is super awesome and free to use for iOS and Android devices.

I have a MegaPass plan, can I add additional tickets to my order?

Definitely! For every order, you'll have the option to use your two membership tickets and/or your discounted PlusOne Perk tickets. You may add extra tickets on the ticketing screen and you’ll be charged for any tickets not covered by your plan.

What if I don’t want to use my membership benefits for a ticket?

No problem. Simply tap on the right side of the ticket on the ticketing screen (where it says “MegaPass”) and toggle OFF next to “Use Pass On This Ticket.” Prices for the ticket will appear and you can select the appropriate ticket type(s).

Can I use my benefits for more than one ticket to the same showtime?

Yes! If you have your benefits available for two tickets, you can use them for the same showtime. Simply hit “Add Ticket” on the ticketing screen and it will automatically default to applying your membership benefits.

If you don’t want to apply your membership benefits to a ticket, tap on the right side of the screen (where it says “MegaPass”), then toggle OFF next to “Use Pass On This Ticket.”

Can I see the same movie more than once?

Of course! It is entirely up to you how you’d like to use your monthly benefits.

Can I earn MyMegaRewards Points with my MegaPass Plan?

Yes. Simply add your MyMegaRewards phone number on the order checkout screen in the Atom Tickets app. Once your number is stored, all of your monthly fees and PlusOne Perk ticket purchases will earn 50 points per dollar spent!

Can I use a promotion?

Valid promotions may be applied to full-price add-on tickets that you purchase, but they can’t be combined and redeemed as part of your MegaPass membership.

Will all my fees be waived?

When you have a MegaPass membership, any tickets you redeem or purchase on the Atom Tickets app will have the convenience fees waived. This includes orders where you don’t use any of your membership benefits.

What happens if I have to cancel an order?

Plans change, we get it! If you’re in the same billing cycle and you’ve canceled your order 30 minutes before showtime, any membership benefits used for the order will be reposted to your account.

Once your monthly billing cycle ends, any benefits used during that cycle cannot be credited back, even if they were for a future showtime. For example, let’s say your billing cycle is the 5th of each month and on June 17 you use your membership benefits for two tickets for a movie coming out July 15. You must cancel your order and re-use those membership benefits by July 4, before your next billing cycle begins. If you cancel on or after July 5, your membership benefits will not be credited back.

For any additional tickets purchased through Atom Tickets, you will receive a refund to the original payment method, regardless of your membership billing cycle.

Can I get concessions discounts with my MegaPass membership?

Megaplex popcorn is the best part of going to the movies, right? As a MegaPass member, enjoy 15% off your favorite movie snacks at participating food and concessions stands inside your favorite Megaplex Theatre.

All you need to do is show your “Popcorn Badge” to the concessions stand team member. The badge is located on the bottom of your QR code ticket, or by clicking on the MegaPass section of the Profile tab in the Atom Tickets mobile app.

Your 15% off benefit may not be combined with any other discounts or promotions and is only valid on regularly-priced concessions items.

GIFT MEMBERSHIPS - PURCHASING & SENDING

Where can I purchase a MegaPass Gift Membership?

You can visit www.megaplextheatres.com/i/MegaPassGift to purchase MegaPass Gift Membership in 6, 9, and 12 months increments and send them to friends, family or even yourself.

Are there any fees associated with the purchase of a MegaPass Gift Membership?

No. As the purchaser, you will only be charged the face value of the MegaPass Gift Membership.

Can I change the value of a MegaPass Gift Membership after I've paid for it?

MegaPass Gift Memberships can be purchased in 6, 9, and 12 months increments. Unfortunately, these durations cannot be changed once purchased.

How do I cancel the purchase of a MegaPass Gift Membership?

If you chose a delivery date that is in the future, you can cancel your purchase by contacting gifts@MegaplexTheatres.com. If the delivery date is today or in the past, your purchase cannot be cancelled.

What payment methods do you accept?

VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.

What is a credit card Security Code and why is it required?

In order to protect you from unauthorized transactions, we require your credit card's Security Code
  • MasterCard, VISA, and Discover: The Security Code is the 3-digit number printed on the signature panel on the back of your card. It immediately follows the account number.
  • American Express: The card Security Code (also referred to as the CID number) is printed above the imprinted card number on the front of the card (on either the left or right).
Please note, there are a small percentage of "plastic-less" card accounts for American Express - Corporate and Purchasing Card accounts. If you have one of these accounts with no AMEX card, please enter 5555 as your card security code.

When is my credit card charged for my purchase?

Your credit card is charged at the time of purchase. This purchase will appear on your credit/debit card statement as MEGAPLEX CS GIFT CARD.

Can I buy a MegaPass Gift Membership for myself?

Yes. To do so, go to the "Email" tab underneath "How would you like to deliver your MegaPass Gift Card?" On this tab, enter your name in the "Recipient Name" field and your email address in the "Recipient Email" field. Complete the transaction normally. When you receive your MegaPass Gift Membership email, follow the instructions in the email to retrieve and redeem your MegaPass Gift Membership.

Can I send two (or more) MegaPass Gift Cards to two (or more) different people who share an email address?

Yes. If you send separate gift memberships to Aunt Mary and Uncle Jim at their shared email address, they will receive two messages with the subject "[Sender] sent you a MegaPass Gift Membership from Megaplex Theatres with your name in place of [Sender]. Within the text of the emails, each message will be addressed to the respective recipient, using the name you entered in the purchase process, for example: "Mary Smith, John Jones sent you a MegaPass Gift Membership for Megaplex Theatres."


GIFT MEMBERSHIPS - RECEIVING & REDEEMING

What exactly does the recipient receive when I send a MegaPass Gift Membership?

On the delivery date you choose, a message is sent to the recipient informing them of your gift, with a link to Atom Tickets app or web to redeem it online. The email includes the gift membership’s duration and activation code number. The recipient can click the link in the email and enter the gift membership code number to active the MegaPass. This email also gives simple instructions for redeeming the MegaPass Gift Membership.

When is the MegaPass Gift Membership sent to the recipient?

The MegaPass Gift Membership alert message is sent to the recipient on the date you choose. The delivery date is pre-set to the current date, so if you do not select a different date, the alert message is sent on the same day as your purchase.

Where can I use my MegaPass Gift Membership?

You can redeem your MegaPass Gift Membership in the Atom Tickets app for use at any of the conveniently located Megaplex Theatres locations in Utah and Nevada, excluding the Main Street location in St. George, Utah.

Why do I need to enter my credit card to use the MegaPass Gift Membership?

In order to allow you to add addition tickets as well as continue your membership uninterrupted after your gift period ends, you will need to provide a valid payment instrument when redeeming your MegaPass Gift Card. Not to worry though, as you can cancel your membership before the end of your gift period if you would like to end your membership and avoid the automatic monthly renewal fee. You will receive two reminder emails prior to the end of your gift period.

You can cancel your membership at any time by going to the "My Profile" page in the Atom app or website and clicking "MegaPass Billing Details" and then "Cancel Plan". Regardless of when you cancel, you will still be able to use your benefits until the end of your gift period.

When does the MegaPass Gift Membership expire?

There is no expiration date on your MegaPass Gift Card.

Can I reload my MegaPass Gift Membership after I've spent the full value?

Unfortunately, gift membership cannot be extended or reloaded once purchased.


GIFT MEMBERSHIPS - SECURITY & RELIABILITY

Is my order secure?

CashStar is a Maine-based company specializing in MegaPass Gift Memberships that allow consumers and businesses to securely send gift cards over the internet. CashStar's focus is on developing a secure payment technology platform and service dedicated to bridging the digital and physical divide. CashStar is fully PCI compliant.

All personal and financial information is transmitted using the https protocol over a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), utilizing state of the art technology for consumer protection. Behind the scenes, your web browser is sending all personal and financial information over SSL. The MegaPass Gift Membership purchase process is fully PCI compliant. How do you prevent the email from getting lost as spam?

CashStar adheres to all industry best practices to ensure successful delivery of the MegaPass Gift Membership via email. Still, there is a chance that the email will be treated as spam or the recipient didn't notice it in their email inbox. You will receive an email message confirming delivery of the Gift Membership alert email, and a message notifying you that the MegaPass Gift Membership has been viewed. If the MegaPass Gift Membership goes un-viewed for 15 days after delivery, you will receive a message with options for resolving the issue.

How do I know the recipient actually received the MegaPass Gift Membership I sent them?

You will receive an email message confirming delivery, and a message notifying you that the MegaPass Gift Membership has been viewed. If the MegaPass Gift Membership goes un-viewed for 15 days after delivery, you will receive a message with options for resolving the issue. You may also contact gifts@MegaplexTheatres.com with the order number from the email you received confirming your purchase, and we can tell you if the recipient has viewed their MegaPass Gift Membership.

What if I lose my MegaPass Gift Membership?

Your MegaPass Gift Membership has cash value and should be safeguarded as such. If you lose your printed MegaPass Gift Membership, contact gifts@MegaplexTheatres.com immediately. If your MegaPass Gift Membership has not been redeemed, we can attempt to cancel the original and issue you a new MegaPass Gift Membership for that value.

What if someone uses my MegaPass Gift Membership?

If someone uses your Gift Card code number, your Gift Membership will no longer be usable.
